I live in this area for few years. I keep hearing that Atlanta is “affordable,” but with rising rents, car costs, and everything else, I’m not sure anymore. Curious how it’s playing out for others. When you moved here, what were you expecting vs what you’re experiencing now? What expenses shocked you the most (rent, utilities, daycare, car, etc.)? Do you feel financially more relaxed here compared to other cities? If you had to move again, would you still pick Atlanta purely for cost reasons?
